• Commencement of Online application for GATE-2013: 01.09.2012 (Saturday)

• Last date of online application for GATE-2013: 30.09.2012 (Sunday)

• Commencement of Online Registration of application by candidates in NTPC :  10.12.2012 (Monday) 1300 Hours

• Last date for online registration of application by candidates in NTPC  : 30.12.2012 (Sunday) Midnight

• GATE-2013 (Civil) : 20.01.2013 (Sunday)

• GATE-2013 (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation)  :  10.02.2013 ( Sunday)

Application Fee : Candidate belonging to General/OBC category is required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 150/-. 

QUALIFICATION for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees :
Full time Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE with not less than 65% marks   

Electrical Engg : Electrical / Electrical & Electronics / Electrical, Instrumentation & Control / Power Systems & High Voltage / Power Electronics / Power Engineering

Mechanical Engg : Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engg/ Production & Industrial Engg/Thermal / Mechanical & Automation / Power Engineering

Instrumentation Engg : Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control

AGE LIMIT for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees :
Upper Age limit is 27 years as on 01.01.2013 i.e. candidates born before 01.01.86 need not apply.

SELECTION PROCESS for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees :

Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2013. Based on the GATE-2013 MARKS and requirement, candidates will be short listed for Group Discussion and Personal Interview

COMPENSATION PACKAGE for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees :

pay scale of Rs. 24900-3%-50500 at the basic pay of Rs. 24900/- during one-year training

PLACEMENT for NTPC Engineering Executive Trainees :
The selected candidates shall undergo one year training at various places.

No registration fee will be charged from SC/ST/PWD candidates during online registration in NTPC Ltd.
